JOB TITLE:Analysis Lab Technician

EMPLOYER: OmniLytics, Inc.

LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah

RESPONSIBILITIES: Microbiologist sought by early stage company developing infectious disease remediation products to become part of their dynamic growing biotech team. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow an entry-level candidate to grow with the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree or 2-4 years experience.
• Must be very hands-on as this is a bench-level position.
• Must be highly motivated with a positive attitude and have the ability to multi-task effectively and adapt quickly to rapidly developing opportunities.
• Must possess strong interpersonal, report writing, and oral communication skills.
• Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and multi-project environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Receive and prepare laboratory samples for analysis, following proper protocols to ensure that they will be stored, prepared, and disposed of efficiently and effectively.
• Culture and characterize a wide variety of BioSafety Level 2 organisms (bacteria, viruses, and fungi).
• Record data pertaining to results.
• Prepare data summaries, reports, and analyses that include results.
• Adjust testing equipment, and prepare culture media, following standard procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment.
• Position requires early morning standard shift.

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with background and experience level.
