JOB TITLE: Microbiologist (Lab Technician)

EMPLOYER: OmniLytics, Inc.

LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah

RESPONSIBILITIES: Microbiologist sought by early stage company developing infectious disease remediation products to become part of their dynamic growing biotech team. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow an entry-level candidate to grow with the team. Duties include culturing and characterizing a wide variety of BioSafety Level 2 organisms (bacteria, viruses, and fungi).

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Microbiology or related field. Must be very “hands-on” as this is a bench-level position. Experience operating a PCR, Biolog, Lyophilizer and TFF a plus. Must be highly motivated with a positive attitude and have the ability to multi-task effectively and adapt quickly to rapidly developing opportunities. Must possess strong interpersonal, report writing, and oral communication skills. Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and multi-project environment. SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with background and experience level. Competitive compensation package, including stock options, health and dental insurance.
