JOB TITLE: Shipping Clerk / Production Worker

EMPLOYER: OmniLytics, Inc.

LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assessing and selecting a very specific product for customer orders.
• Ensures shipping inventory, storage, and distribution are performed in a cost effective and efficient manner.
• Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintain production area, clean room, and equipment.
• Candidate will prepare product for the chosen shipment method, and monitor shipments progress.
• Loads, unloads, moves, and stores items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions.
• Duties also include assisting the Production team with various tasks in a fast pace environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum experience: 1-2 years.
• Computer skills are required. Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Applicant must be detail oriented, and should have experience with all aspects of shipping and inventory programs.
• Experience in microbiology, biology or science related lab experience is a plus.
• Must be very hands-on and willing to learn how to use new equipment and handling repetitive tasks with great efficiency.
• Must be able to repetitively lift 50 pounds.
• Motivation, a positive attitude, the ability to multi-task effectively and adapt quickly to rapidly developing opportunities is crucial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and multi-project environment.
• Ideal employee will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Must be dependable. Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
