Buckman Laboratories and OmniLytics Jointly Announce a Bacteriophage Distribution Agreement

Salt Lake City (February 26, 2009) Buckman Laboratories, S.A. de C.V. of Mexico and OmniLytics, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT today announced that they have entered into a collaborative distribution and license agreement with rights to OmniLytics' AgriPhage product line. The agreement provides Buckman Laboratories with a new line of bacterial control solutions targeting plant diseases within Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Justin Reber, President & CEO of OmniLytics, stated, "With much of the worlds crop production originating from Latin America, we feel we have formed a partnership whereby crop quality will be consistently improved and yield increased through the reduction of harmful pathogens. Globally, crops continue to be adversely affected by the introduction and subsequent spread of new bacterial disease. With very few viable solutions on the market today, OmniLytics, Inc. has developed a safe, natural solution for controlling bacterial disease through host-specific viruses named bacteriophage.
